To think from 1946 to 1992 the western world, a world supposedly built in liberty, freedom, elected representative government fought a Cold War vs. the Soviet led East Communist bloc. What it hasn't done is change the vectors of the viral spread which follow broadly similar transmission levels over time and regardless of any interventions and which are more or less beyond human control as even the WHO advises.
