We need to get rid these of by any means, it's bad for the environment, tax the hell out of them until they do. And overpopulation on the planet is causing too much pressure on the crust causing this, so tax them also..

It is a very rare type of eruption on land, these types of eruptions are usually under the sea. It is a rifting fissure eruption, there is no magma chamber, it is fed directly from the Earths mantle, basically it is the North Atlantic ridge splitting open a little bit on land.
