Authority is the greatest enemy of truth.

Only if there is a specific numerical prediction of increased hurricanes, sea level rise, days of record heat, thickness of sea ice, weight of glacial mass and hat occur on a defined date SO THAT verification or falsification of the hypothesis can be determined. Modelling has not proven reliable in climate, but if you generate thousands of models and select from those, and then create a weighted synthesis, it is possible to achieve any result desired. Anyone familiar with Fournier series understands any curve is possible summing weighted sines and cosines curves. (Even Homer Simpson, on YouTube).

Look at the accuracy of weather forecasts. Anything past 7 days has approx 60% failure rate, and yet, we are supposed to believe people like Al Gore who make outrageous claims like NYC will be underwater 10+ years in the future.

Richard Horton spent 12 years defending Andrew Wakefield's fraudulent claims about a link between MMR vaccination and autism. He has no credibility.

Are there any other folks speaking against this avalanche, this tsunami of phony predictions? I don't ever watch the main stream hogwash but I haven't even heard of anyone providing pushback from positions of power.
