My UFO encounter A friend and I were on our way to Lake Charles, Louisiana to lose some money. I was a passenger, one of the few times in my life so I drank a beer while she drove. Well it was about 8 pm and I needed to take a leak. She pulled over, and I went to blue trash dumpster by a fence and took a leak. Clouds were low, not uncommon out here, warn, sorta foggy. I looked up I saw ball of light approaching. It came in steady no higher than 500 feet maybe 500 -1500 away from me. I just stood there looking with more dork out, stopped mid stream you know.It passed me, slowed down and stopped. I did not hear a sound, no sound at all, silent!. It stopped to one side of what looked like a 2 story motel. A light shined down, the same texture as the ball of light. I don’t know if it actually hit anything, my view was blocked at ground level. A little about this UFO though. When I say ball of light, I mean a defused ball, very close to what would look like a white cloud. Maybe 15ft by 15ft. The size was constant, not changing. I tried to get the girl in the car's attention by waving and pointing, she didn’t see me. I watched the UFO took off toward the Gulf, the same way that it came in. This time it was traveling twice as fast than when it came in. Maybe 100 miles an hours. The acceleration and silence was unique as far as air travel is concerned. The craft was silent, remained at the same altitude throughout the encounter.
