In the USA and likely similar to others parts of the world, hectares burned due to forrest fires today are down by over 90% as compared to 100 years ago. Simple fact is human development has been a great intervener of forrest fires by us being able to spot them and better control their spread. 100+ years ago out in the wilderness where few humans lived forrest fires burned out of control until running out of trees being fuel and or weather stopped them. Simple fact is humans have over especially the last 60-70 years become good stewards of our environment in general. But the Marxist-Communist driven ideologues do not care about facts.
