Tony. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I expanded the information into a music video ... https://newtube.app/user/RAOB/KGU9cNT

This isn't a problem. If the U.S. and Europe rapidly return to a medieval way of life we'll easily buy another year of world CO2 reduction and after that it'll be a CCP problem and nothing to do with us anyway as we'll just be subsistence farmers and won't even know about it any more.

That’s kinda cool though. In the US though, we are paying 60 cents in taxes on the gallon of gas and our roads still stink

You've got to hand it to the Chinese, they get constructive things done to give their countrymen and the poorer nations of the world a standard of living that will set new records in our world. Oh and by the way, despite their close proximity to Wuhan, both Shanghai and Beiijing are NOT locked down meaning that unlike our western Governments the Chinese Government is NOT inhabited by psychotic imbeciles.

At least China can build shit apart from bomb's!! 😝... You know, it's called infrastructure for its people!!!. That can quite easily & quickly be converted when needed 😉

The plural of bomb is bombs.

It would interesting to know why that railroad viaduct appears to be a least twice as tall as it needs to be. The Yellow River has a huge flood plain there, but the water would not ever get that high. Unless they don't trust their upriver dams? /js/

Probably to set a record so they can brag about how many records they set.

The biggest enemy of rail efficiency is elevation. They're simply investing capital on the front end in construction in order to save fuel costs over time. (I assume...)

Once they are confronted by the full force and might of the globe-trotting, planet-saving superhero, John Kerry and his Royal Private Jet, they'll tear that whole thing down, and use the parts to build windmills. Those Chinese just don't know what they're in for.

Holy Cow! What a bridge. Don't they have earthquakes in China?

A lot of concrete, which also produces CO2.

Robert__C111

CO2 is plant food.

Truth Sleuth

Pretty awesome endeavor... wonder if anyone has calculated the amount of CO2 released in the production of the concrete used to build the 1800 km of railway supports.

PabloMeeler

That concrete and rebar won’t make it 10 years.

China can use coal but Democrats nearly pass out from hysteria if we drive gas-powered cars. China Joe Obiden cancelled a pipeline that put thousands out of work, and Democrats cheer.

Unlike the Chinese, we in the west are governed by imbeciles.
